MoD - Industry Strategic Partnering
Harmonic were instrumental in a high profile MoD-Industry change programme which harmonises management, technical, financial and commercial practices across the MoD, the client and the Industrial Supply Base. We provided the initial change strategy, followed up by organisational and process design and finally the training of the new organisation and its roll-out.
In the early stages Harmonic operated with senior MoD and client personnel identifying the benefits of the new organisation and the strategy to be undertaken for its development. This included incorporating the MoD preferred LEAN techniques into the overall change programme.
As the change programme developed Harmonic were involved in the design of the new process and supporting organisation and its communication across the MoD and client stakeholders. This work also included detail process design in the areas of project management, capacity planning, requirements management, systems engineering, certification and qualification and independent test and evaluation.
