Enterprise Planning Structure for Rail Infrastructure Company
Harmonic were asked to help a large UK prime win business with a new customer in the transport industry. Harmonic provided a Capture team to work with the client's executive team and a rail expert.
This team developed and implemented a capture strategy that allowed the client to win the work in the face of strong competition from established suppliers. Strong relationships with the senior stakeholders from across the ultimate customer organisation were established allowing a deep understanding of the critical project issues. This was used to develop a winning technical and commercial solution and a technology demonstrator that was critical in establishing the credibility of the client as a supplier.
Harmonic provided continuity by transitioning the Capture team into the project delivery, adding Software Programme Management, Business Change and Technical Architecture capabilities to support the rapid growth of the team. Over the programme much of this effort has transitioned to the client's full time staff with appropriate handover and skills transfer.
